5 weeks into the marketing program - Joel Comm

We are 5 weeks into the marketing program and to be honest, I have nothing but good stuff to say about Joel Comm. He has helped us channel our online efforts in the right direction. Initially we only had 1 website and we thought that was doing pretty well, until we started putting his ideas to the test.

We found that we had a 400% increase in our income and to top it all off, we have now got 4 times the amount of daily traffic to what we used to have. There is a program on the market now, that is available to download, it will help you create sites instantly and help you build on passive income. I've never seen anything like it, it is so simple to use.

All I can say is, you've got to try it to believe it. Then you can make up your own mind. Build on your passive income now.

Finding my passions again

When I was a lot younger when the internet had only just opened it's doors to us, I found that I could be what I wanted to be. I wanted to be a short story writer. I was so excited about this that I got myself a free website and I started writing my short stories on there. It wasn't long before I had people asking me if they could put their short stories on my website. At this time, I had no idea about needing quality content. So I went along with it, but I also found myself in a little bit of bother, because some of these short stories had been copied by the writers and that was my very first lesson on the internet. "Never take responsibility for other people's work." So I put a paragraph in on the home page that said something to this effect. "I do not take responsibility for the originality of other authors works. If you have a enquiry about this, please contact the author."

Before I knew it, I was no longer getting disgruntled emails from people that were questioning this. So that was a problem solved. That is where my life on the internet started. I then started to explore avenues for getting paid for what I do... That's when I found out that I had more than one passion. I started learning the ropes of marketing my website and how to monetize it. This was great I thought...

For years I went quite stagnant and didn't really do anything different and was happy to poodle along just getting meger amounts for my website. Then, all at once, things hit me in the head and I have now started up my old passions again. Except I'm not writing short stories anymore, I'm now writing from experience. I write about what I've done and seen, I write about all of my passions and in some way they help me to earn a living.

It's been two months since we started changing things about and I can honestly say it's given us a second wind in what we do and boy the traffic is flooding in and our cashflow is also getting much better again. I am happy to say.!!!

Who said you can't earn anything online? We are proving it to ourselves that it is possible as long as you can string along a few sentences!

So, if you're interested in learning how to get started, just keep watching this space. There will always be helpful information and remember I learnt all of this by experience, so I'll make sure you won't get caught with scams.... I hope so anyway.

Enthusiastic about Marketing

I find that there isn't many people that I know personally that is as enthusiastic as I am when it comes to marketing. I love learning new techniques and even the old ones which I was too lazy to implement in the first place. I now am doing exactly that, I'm implementing old and new strategies and I'm steering away from all the hype.

In this last month, we have actually had 400% growth on our income and that was just by listening to an expert in the field and also implementing some of our existing knowledge of marketing.

Marketing can be exciting, watching the stats climb, month after month is a thrill, but boy, I can't wait for that one massive leap and I know it is near, because the figures are showing me just how quickly things are moving along.

I have learnt about countless methods of marketing over the last 10 years. I have tried almost every method, but lost the will to carry on when things weren't going as smoothly as I knew they could be. So now, I've put my mind set right... you won't get anywhere without a little effort and patience. I am now in the right frame of mind to move up a level and start doing what I knew I could have been doing 5 years ago if I just stuck to it.

My partner is still learning, but he is on the fast track crash course. I have taught him everything I learnt in 9 years into a 3 years. Now he is just about at the same level as I am and we are working very well together. We talk about what we've got to do and then we get it done. Our time management has started to get more productive and we aren't quite to tired anymore.

We start our day with a quick coffee and a quick chat. We bounce ideas off of each other and then we implement them. We have learned to get the best out of each other with just a little encouragement, because this Internet marketing is a cold place really, everyone wants to make money and everyone keeps their real secrets close to their chests. We've gone from only a couple hundred a day to more than 500 visits a day. Our income has quadrupled.

With a little help from somebody that has gone through the ropes and little encouragement from a business partner or even your husband or wife can make the world of difference.

I am so mad, it's unbelievable

Today I was reading through one of the marketing pages that I had signed up to and believe it or not, the copyright name caught my eye.... I noticed a payment had gone out of my account for this company and I couldn't quite place it, till I saw that copyright name.... Well, you can imagine, how I was starting to get.... They had charged me 3 times the amount they should have and to top it all off, their customer support is non-existant. I asked for their help over a week ago and still hadn't got a reply so, I'm guessing that I won't be getting the refund I asked for, but you know.

It makes me so mad, I could scream my head off at this. Here I am, a single mom with 3 kids, trying to make a living online and that is what I get for my effort. It really peaves me off that people go about ripping people off.

Well, the view I have at the moment is.... I will have the last laugh, because I won't be doing things underhanded. I will get to the top with pure determination. I am a fighter, I will make it online.... I'm well on my way to doing that already... so there, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

For the people that do read my blogs, I apologise for showing my real anger at the situation, but if I didn't do this, you wouldn't know that I am human and that I also have feelings.

For all the people that are out there trying to get ahead in the rat race online, I hope that you don't get scammed time and time again. This has definitely been another lesson learned.

Questions about Babies

I've heard them all and I've even asked a few myself but what I can't understand is. Why isn't this subject dealt with in schools. I mean, most of us do end up having children or we look after them. I personally think that a few pointers given before we actually have children, can't do any harm.

This subject should probably be dealt with in guidance classes. When a new baby is born you are more or less thrown in at the deep end and you're automatically expected to know what to do. It isn't all natural instinct. Sometimes you need a helping hand. Midwives, health visitors can usually only give you what they've experienced or the more likely one, what they've read in text books.

Every baby is different, every baby has his/her own personality and you'll probably find that if you are a strong willed person, your baby has also gained that from you. So when you think that they are being naughty or just won't stop crying or winging. Put yourself in their shoes and you'll more than likely find that you will be able to cope better with their personality and quirks.

This is just a random thought really as I run a baby related website and the questions asked are things that could easily have been taught in a guidance class.

I do believe our parents should help us and guide us, but even they would struggle with the more technical questions. So, what I'm saying is: We need to be more educated on this subject as this is part of OUR life cycle. We don't have a gene in our bodies that lets us automatically know the procedure of having babies and letting them grow up to be decent human beings. We have to be educated first.

History of Western Art

In Western Civilization, painting and sculpture art have been the most active art forms for many centuries.

In other cultures this has not always been the case eg. Islamic art is one of ornaments because artists were forbidden to portray living creatures. In other cultures - masks, tattoos, pottery and other metal work have been the best forms of visual art.

More recently technology has made other art forms possible i.e. photography and cinema. Internet and electronic media i.e. computer graphics, computer aided animation and "painting". Other imaging techniques have led to an entirely new way of creating and presenting visual images.

Kelly Clarkson - She inspires me.

The other day I was just walking through my living room when I heard Kelly Clarkson singing, at first I didn't realise that it was her, but then I tried to place the face and before I could even guess that it was her, they revealed her name.

I love her style... I think that her music is poignant. A lot of what she sings about actually relates to some part of our lives. I think she is a great music artist. I hope that she is around for many years to come.

Parenting a family

You know, in this day and age, parenting babies through to teenagers has changed quite dramatically since I was a kid. I did however find an article which is now on our site, called Parenting Management. This article covers most of the issues we face as parents and how we should try to cope with things.
I have my own views on parenting a family and I’m sure everyone else does too, but if you read this article, you will see, that this guy genuinely believes in what he says. He does make a few good points and fair play to him. It’s a long article, so be warned, you may be there for a while. It is interesting and informative. Typically from a man’s point of view though. So bear that in mind when you read it.

Online Marketing- It's true I tell you...

Yeah, yeah, yeah... We've heard all the sales pitches, we are getting annoyed with the rubbish that is out there. How can we tell, what is actually going to work, and what isn't? I find that the best methods of learning, is by actually doing. So, be prepared for lots and lots of downturns. These can break your spirit, they can make you give up.

However, the survivors of this are the ones that actually have the stamina and persistance to go on. They usually end up making a few pennies more. They don't immediately make thousands. I wish that were true, but they do progressively get better at the skill of marketing and they find that they can judge, predict what is going to happen.

In the accountancy of business you have something called a cashflow budget forecast. I have found that to be really useful, because in the accounting world, you would have to be able to predict what the market is going to be like financially. The same thing applies in marketing.

Keep your eye on the financial news, you can usually find out whether your predictions are going to be correct or not. I usually work on a 5% increase of traffic on the website, but sometimes I fall short of that, if however, it is a 10% decrease from last months traffic, I would ask myself, what did I do in the last month that my followers, customers didn't like. Or was it that my content has gone out of date and I need to update all the content on the site. These things play a massive part in your venture of successful marketing.

If someone tells you, they only work 20 hours a week on their website.... I tell you, they are liars. Especially if they proclaim to be making thousands of pounds or dollars. IF THEY CAN PROVE THAT, THEN THEY MUST BE DOING BLACKHAT METHODS. Which is not wise and it could do your site more harm than good.

So here are a few pointers to running a successful website:
* Keep your content up to date
* Make sure you have your meta tags in place
* Tag your pictures
* Don't listen those that say they only work 20 hours a week, you are more likely to work 60 hours or more.
* Work on a 5% traffic increase.

These targets are attainable, just trust yourself and things will start to fall into place. Afterall, most marketing programs want you to part with your money.... Becareful.
