How To Make Money From Passions

Maverick Money Makers © 1997 - 2008
http://kimkev69.maverick66.hop.clickbank.net/

To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don't just jump right in unprepared.

The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who'd have you believe it's a "Walk in the Park" and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I'll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, "what comes first the chicken or the egg"? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don't think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.

I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught.
Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don't find it move on,You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" does that, don't be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.

Note: By the way it's your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.

Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Not being Passionate about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must avoid.

Maverick Money Makers is a private society that will teach you how tobuild a six-figure a month businesson the internet.

Learn 5 Important Reasons to Use Video Marketing

Author: Darlene Siddons

Effective advertising on the web requires taking advertising out of the so called traditional box and creating something truly effective that can produce results. The new and unique attracts attention and that is what video advertising is all about. Marketing on the web requires the same strategic thinking as marketing in all of the other arenas of advertising, something to grab the attention of the public. Think the way they advertise on TV….think Super Bowl advertising, only it is for the internet. Effective marketing on the web starts with unique marketing, and video marketing is the new cutting edge way to advertise on the internet. We want our advertising strategies to be something that is unique, different and very effective. Videos are the very thing that could create this interest in a business, website or email advertising campaign, as they don't require a large budget and they are in a format that can be spread all over the web in creative ways. 1. Social Media Marketing is one of the hottest markets for advertising on the internet today, and it is important to grab the interest of prospective customers through this modality, videos are the way to attract this attention. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, Forums, Member Websites, YouTube, are all video friendly and you don't want to miss out on this advertising opportunity. 2. Contact Prior Customers for Return Business we all know that it is important to keep customers coming back, and sometimes they need a little nudge to keep coming back; videos are a perfect opportunity to send them a notice and reminder, they are fun, non-threatening and can deliver any kind of message you want. 3. Thank Customers for Continued Business this is your perfect opportunity to show your customers how important they are, sending them a personalized video which is entertaining and informative is a perfect way to keep in touch and to let them know how special they are to you and your business. 4. Introduce New Products and/or Services you want to introduce a new product or service and you don't want it just to be another auto responder email, you can send a video and make it special and personal, they can even have a message of empowerment with affirmations or powerful quotes; also, you can give them an opportunity to a special pricing included in the video. 5. Develop and Improve Traffic to Website/Blog videos can be used to attract more traffic to your website/blog just like writing articles can, you can send them to all your social media sites and use keywords in the titles and tags; you can also use videos for advertising on CraigsList and Backpage which also are Google friendly. Marketing and advertising on the web offers a worldwide art festival at our fingertips and videos are one of the forms of art that is very appealing to the general public. We are a visual society and love visual action to entertain us and a video is a perfect advertising agent which also satisfies this entertaining part of us.

All about Leaflet Design

Author: Vinaytosh Mishra

What is a leaflet?

Leaflets are a type of open letter or postcard, designed to be handed out to people, either by hand, by post, inserted in local newspapers for distribution, left in venues, shops, restaurants, cafes, libraries… ANYWHERE where they will catch a person’s eye.

Why produce a leaflet?

A leaflet gives you a chance to put across your argument and to draw attention to your organization, cause or event. A leaflet also gives you the space to present your ideas clearly and with graphical impact. Furthermore as people can take your leaflet home with them, it means they have more time to absorb to your message and to keep a visual reminder of it. Indeed, once distributed, the leaflet may end up being read by many more people that the person it was handed to, widening its impact still further.

Designing a leaflet - the basics

Leaflets are for delivering useful, reusable information. The size and shape of the leaflet is a major factor in its success. A leaflet that people can’t fit easily into a pocket or a bag will be thrown away. Take a piece of paper out of your printer. It should be A4. Now fold it in half, that’s known as A5, now fold it in half again, that’s what A6 looks like. Leaflets are normally created from a single sheet of paper, folded in half (to A5) or in three (to A6). Most leaflets start life as sheets of A4 paper - your design should also start there. Leaflets may seem suitable for audiences who don’t read much or well. However, well-written material will always enable people to make more informed judgments quickly. Don’t cram it with text. People won’t read it. Instead aim for clarity, strong argument and quality.

Designing a leaflet - step by step

When designing a leaflet, you are expressing yourself not only with words but also with pictures and graphics. How you present these pictures and graphics will also contribute to the way readers perceive their importance.

There are four clear tasks in the design of a leaflet.

1. Decide what you want to say

You must be clear in mind about the point you want to make. Though you have lots of space in a leaflet you still want it to be clear and persuasive. If the leaflet is being produced by a group, you should discuss this overall concept together.

2. Text editing

Someone needs to write the text or choose bits of other people’s text that are particularly effective and put these together to make up the text for your leaflet. Remember, your text must be

a) Persuasive,

b) Interesting to read, and

c) Catchy and memorable. Format your text to make it punchy. Use short paragraphs and mark them with headings. Use bullet-pointed lists which are easy to read. You can pull out single lines and highlight them in a different font size or color to make a strong point.

3. Picture design

Make sure your pictures help to get your message across. Commonly you may choose to use

a) Pictures from official sources such as NGOs,

b) Pictures that you drew or created yourself,

c) Pictures taken with a digital camera,

d) Pictures downloaded from the internet, or

e) Powerful graphics such as graphs. Make sure you have permission to reuse these pictures for your leaflet, though.

4. Layout design

The layout of your leaflet needs to be thought out very carefully. Work out with the rest of the group what text and pictures you will have. Using a piece of plain paper sketch out:

* Where blocks of text will go

* Where headings will go

* Where pictures will go

* How big the various bits will be Try to think of colors for the text and background, too.

5. Make a booklet

Imagine an A5 leaflet. Effectively it has a front and back cover and a two page spread inside. The front cover lends itself to a single, powerful statement and a hard-hitting graphic to support the leaflet’s title. These should be gripping enough to make anyone want to read on. On page two you can set out the problem: for instance, the situation against which you are campaigning. On page three, right opposite, you can explain what you are trying to do about the situation on page two - and how, when and where.

Finally, on the back cover, tell us about yourself and your organization. Don’t forget to include contact details for people who want to know more or want to get involved. If you are working in association with another organization, be sure to mention them. See if you can add their logo to your flyer. Their support will add authority to your efforts.

6. PCs and printing

You will need to type and design your leaflet on a computer. For typing and formatting text, you will need a word processing program such as MS Word. Later versions of this program will also handle basic graphics. More experienced computer users may prefer to use specialist graphics programs such as Quarkxpress or Adobe Photoshop for the design process. If you do not have a computer yourself, or do not have a friend or colleague who will lend you theirs, head for your local library where you can get internet access and a PC to use for free. Though it is possible to print off your leaflets on a computer, it will be a long and laborious process. Furthermore your computer’s printer may not handle graphics and colors well.

Your best bet will always be to give the job to a professional. Any small printer will print, cut and fold your leaflets and may even help you with design. There will be a charge for this service so get a couple of quotations from different printers. Remember too that a quotation is just that. See if you can get these prices reduced if you supply your own artwork, order a smaller (or larger print run) or reduce the weight of the paper you are printing on. They may even offer you a discount if they agree with your cause.

7. A word about printing

Finally be aware of the following:

* All printers will cut your leaflet to size, so you must leave a “bleed margin”. This is a space of 2mm around the edge of your design which can be lost in the cutting. Don’t run any text into this space.

* If the quality of an image is too low, its corners will “pixel ate” and go jagged. Your images should be saved as 300 dpi and preferably stored as JPG or TIF files.
* If you paper is too thin, heavy colors from one side of the paper will leak through to the other.

Marketings Greatest Secret

Author: Marketing Buzz

Do you know what the best type of Marketing is for your company?

How about a Yellow Pages advert? Pay per click? Maybe some direct mail followed up a telemarketing campaign?

Well whilst each of these are perfectly valid marketing routes and one's any forward thinking company should at least test the very best type of marketing for all types of business is the type that is FREE!!!

That's right Ladies and Gentlemen, if you're working with a tight marketing budget (or indeed with no set marketing budget at all) then you can now get exposure for your product, service or company in the form of PR (or Public Relations).

For large companies PR is big business. They will think nothing of employing staff with the sole intention of getting the name of their company in the media (be it written press, television, radio or online). And because the PR market is seemingly dominated by the larger companies small companies shy away from using PR in their marketing mix.

If this applies to you then good times could well be ahead as PR is a vital part of the marketing mix for smaller companies in particular as they often don't have the time or money to spend on often expensive advertising or other marketing.

Successful businesses of all sizes use PR to promote their business, build their reputation and become a recognised expert in their particular field. And the beauty of PR is that everyone is an expert in something. And by passing on your expertise in a particular subject in the right way you become newsworthy.

And that is the real secret when it comes to good PR. It has to be interesting and newsworthy. Nobody cares that you've just launched a new website or that Mrs Jones in Accounts has just become a Grandmother for the second time (both subjects I've seen in press releases and both subjects I've seen in journalist's bins!!). And if you've ever attempted PR only not to have it published then I wouldn't worry too much about it as you're amongst the 99% of companies who send out PR that isn't newsworthy or interesting.

Here are a few words on Why PR is important.

Communication lies at the heart of today's modern society. Be it on the internet, television, pod casts or whatever medium you choose. And with so many firms competing for the same business as you, how do your customers differentiate between you and your competitors?

The answer lies not particularly in the size of your Yellow Pages advert but how you project yourself and what your firm has to offer.

PR has a huge sway in the minds of consumers as the perceived third party endorsement that comes from editorial coverage can be substantial, maybe even more so than advertising that can cost hundreds or thousands of pounds.

PR done well can result in increased exposure, increased business and increased profits. And if you want your business to be the best it can be then becoming good at PR is something you want to do.

And remember, it's FREE!!!!

Using an Ad Tracker is Key to the Affiliate Marketer

Author: Online Marketing Guru

There’s a lot of money in affiliate marketing. This is true, however, only to those are seriously and zealously working on his affiliate program. Success in affiliate marketing varies in every individual affiliate and for the most part, it depends on his will and perseverance. No matter how good an affiliate program is, it will not prosper if the affiliate marketer does not pay the price of hard work. One must exert extra effort especially on the aspect of promotion. Nothing will happen if the links or banners would just lie idle in a web page, an affiliate must be able to convince the visitor to click it and proceed to the business site to buy the products. No click-throughs means no income for an affiliate marketer.

You can actually generate a full-time income by means of affiliate marketing and you can do it at home, and yes, even while you sleep. You must have a good web site to begin with. It must have good promotional and informative contents, pleasing design, inviting banner ads and all other important elements in an affiliate marketer’s web site. It would be great if you have exhausted other means of advertising such as newsletters, email marketing, message boards and ad listings such as Google AdWords. You just have to go online once in a while to check your site and update it and to watch over the development of your marketing program. Does this sound so easy?

It can be this easy if you have planned your affiliate program well and have taken all the steps towards success carefully and diligently. Now, there’s a tool you can use to help you go through the program with ease and confidence, the Ad Tracker. For many experienced and successful affiliate marketers, the Ad Tracker is a key to a successful affiliate marketing program.

What precisely is an ad tracker? It is a marketing tracking software or program that allows you to trace and take note of every click-through made by visitors of your site and by other customers who got your referral link. There are ad tracking service providers as well, so you will just have to pay them to do the tracking for you. With the ad tracker, you can keep an eye on the progress of your marketing campaigns even offline. This tool or program is especially helpful if you are engaged in several affiliate and pay-per-click programs and have placed ads in emails, pop-ups and pop-unders, message boards, auto responders, Ezines, forums, several web sites, surveys and various ad service providers.

Of course, you don’t want all your efforts to be put to waste so you want to make sure you are getting paid for your hard work. Likewise, you want to make sure every dollar or cent you disburse in your advertising campaigns is wisely spent. With the help of the ad tracker, you will know accurately how many and which of your links where clicked on, how many clicked on your links, how many of your emails were opened and how many of those who opened your email clicked through the business site and purchased a product, how many products were purchased, which of your banner ads or links brought the most leads and sales and many other pertinent facts and figures you need.

Sales records and all data stated are necessary in any business as this could determine if your affiliate program is still worth continuing. This would also help you determine which of your marketing strategies is most effective and which is most beneficial for each product or service you are promoting.

Every decision and plan you make must be well grounded on facts. That decision or plan of action may not be the best, but it is something not to regret about when you had valid reasons for coming up with such decision or plan. You cannot just decide to terminate your affiliate program, just because you don’t earn big in an instant.

If you are serious with affiliate marketing, again and again, keep in mind that your success lies mainly on promotion and your hard work. If you don’t seem lucky enough to convince many of your site users to buy the products, don’t be disheartened and jump into a conclusion that your affiliate program is a failure. If it works for others, it could work for you, too. Know whether your advertising techniques are effective or not, which works best for your program and which doesn’t. Get an ad tracker to help you know all these and you’d surely be on the right track towards success!

Internet Marketing Requires Research and Analysis Effort for Individual Website!

Author: Satwinder

Internet marketing is essential to the success of web sites. You can have a professional looking website but what good can it do if internet users are not able to find it when they need your products and services? That is where an internet marketing campaign comes into play.

"Your website has to magically appear before buyers when they need products and services."

Internet marketing is similar to designing websites- it does not require much experience to do a good job, just good knowledge and a keen eye for details. It is fundamentally important for a good internet marketer to constantly update himself weekly, if not monthly, of online markets. There are many ways to market your website.

-- Find A Competent and Reliable Internet Marketer --

Justify the costs of hiring an Internet Marketer - First of all, getting an internet marketer is not essential for every website. If your website is a business website or a website which you want to generate revenue from, it is good to seek a competent internet marketer to work on your website. For more details visit to www.ultimate-internet-marketing-tricks.com. The costs spent on your website for internet marketing has to be justified and often, they are justified by having more revenue and traffic to your web site.

Potential customers have to know that there are no guarantees in SEO. Since everything is fundamentally based on search engines, SEO work is at the mercy of major search engines like Google. Many SEO companies tried to secure customers with guarantees that they cannot fulfill, resulting in lawsuits or customers getting burned for hiring their SEO services.

-- What an Internet Marketer can offer --

In short, an Internet Marketer oversees that your website
is built properly for visibility and promoted with the best dollar spent on your internet marketing campaign. It is no good having a website and not appearing in internet searches. Your website has to magically appear before buyers when they need products and services. Internet Marketers deploy search engine optimization techniques to make your website visible and targeted to internet users.

Internet marketing requires research and analysis effort for individual website, followed by optimization of website. For more details go to www.inside-the-minds-of-winner.com. Hundreds of hours may be spent on each website, depending on the size of your targeted market. You are essentially paying for the amount of effort involved, effectiveness of your internet marketer and daily sales tracking of your website.

How to choose Internet Marketer- Internet marketing requires constant updating of skills and knowledge. One crude way to test if your internet marketer is a genuine or fake- Ask your internet marketer about recent events that happened in his field. If he cannot answer that, he must have a genuinely good reason to back himself as a good internet marketer! At times, it is easy to fall prey into the hands of bad internet marketing companies as happened in US and other parts of the world.

It is also important for you to feel comfortable with the amount of money you are spending on getting your site popular before committing yourself to an internet marketing campaign. Internet marketing campaigns typically last a few months and requires monthly tune-ups to your website. Include the costs of an internet marketing campaign when doing your company's advertising budget.

Why is Internet Marketing so in Demand These Days?

Author: sagar.nh2009

Surely, most everybody who constantly uses the Internet is familiar with the term Internet marketing. Also called Internet advertising or eMarketing, this process is, as the name suggests, the marketing of products and services over the World Wide Web.

Why is Internet marketing so in demand these days?
If you're going to ask Internet advertisers how their approach to marketing differs from the conventional approach, they can say:
l Internet marketing costs less than conventional marketing.
Companies don't have to spend as much money trying to put up advertisements on the Internet as compared to traditional marketing campaigns. For more details go to www.achieving-liftoffs.com .A startup company would need at least a couple of thousands of dollars to set up a low-end ad campaign, while joining an affiliate program or posting ads on the Internet can be done for free. Also, setting up websites only cost a few hundred dollars
l advertising on the Internet opens a company's products and services up to a wider market.
Now, the products and services they offer can go beyond the locale they are operating on. Companies can get customers from the next town, the next state, even as far as other countries.
l Internet-based advertisements are always on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Unlike television and radio ads wherein they are only aired for a limited number of minutes and only at certain times, online marketing campaigns are always posted on the web, waiting for the next interested customer to view. Your site will always be online even if you're sleeping. While you're snoozing off, people are still chancing up on your Internet ads and clicking on them.
l Internet marketing gives you the privilege of time.
Internet marketing lets you set the pace. You can take it as slow as you want or pump up the tempo as fast as you want to go. You can choose to work on your Internet marketing campaign for the entire day and spend time with your kids the next, it's all up to you.
l Internet marketing can be done with cheap and free resources.
Companies that are looking for ways to advertise need no longer seek the consult of an expensive marketing adviser to find out what you need to do to better expose your products or services to the public. One can simply browse the Internet for helpful tips from various article sites to find tried and tested online marketing suggestions.
l Internet marketing makes for higher profit margins.
Online advertising costs relatively cheaper compared to the usual methods, therefore this means you get to keep more of what you earned from the advertisements to yourself. For more details go to www.impacts-audio.com .This means you have more money to use to further improve your business and grow it into a bigger organization than it already is.
l Internet marketing offers companies an extra means to earn money.
For companies that already have existing marketing campaigns offline, investing on Internet marketing strategies will serve as an alternative means of income. Even if they just leave the online ad alone after being launched people will continue to come across it and possibly generate them sales.

In a nutshell, Internet marketing offers companies a lighter alternative to the conventional marketing strategies we've all grown up to. It's easy, it's economical, and it's effective. With all three needs met, what else could a company look for?

If he cannot answer that, he must have a genuinely good reason to back himself as a good internet marketer! At times, it is easy to fall prey into the hands of bad internet marketing companies as happened in US and other parts of the world.

It is also important for you to feel comfortable with the amount of money you are spending on getting your site popular before committing yourself to an internet marketing campaign. Internet Marketing - The Top 10 Deadly Sins Of New Internet Marketers

Author: William Lockhart

Creating Internet Income is quite a daunting task for anyone however the challenges seem insurmountable for most newbies, especially those who are technically challenged. If you're considering marketing online or engaging in any form of Internet Marketing there are a few common pitfalls that you should consider.

Though I'm no "Internet Guru, these are just a few of the common mistakes and pitfalls that beginner Marketers typically face. For many, these mistakes don't surface until the negative effects of these actions surface. Many new marketers develop tunnel vision early in the online business building process. Hopefully this top 10 list will help you avoid the most common pitfalls.

1. Procrastination - The King Of Failure

Procrastination is by far the KING of failure with respect to online business success. If you fall into the trap of "putting things off", you will e doomed to failure. Be certain that you develop a consistent habit of taking action. Even if you consistently make mistakes it is imperative that you take action on a consistent basis. Create some form of time management system that you can use consistently. Prioritize your tasks and keep lists of everything that needs to be done. If you feel that your confidence level concerning your online activities is not quite up to par, do not allow this to hinder the execution of your planned activities. What ultimately matters is the consistent execution of your key activities. Your comfort level with specific tasks will improve over time!

Develop A Plan And Work The Plan...

2. Seeking Perfection From The Very Beginning

Many new online marketers go to extreme lengths to create the perfect scenario as they begin to execute their online marketing plans. The fact is, no matter how hard you try, it's very unlikely that you'll hit the "home run" you seek right out of the gate. Many newbies seek the perfect web site, the perfect email marketing campaign, the perfect online ad or banner, unfortunately it's VERY unlikely happen. It really doesn't matter whether your efforts are perfect or not! What's important is that you get started as soon as possible with the plans that you've developed. Your online marketing efforts will always be a work in process. As you move forward, you can easily tweak things to your liking. Some people set specific scheduled times to review work that has been previously performed and update as necessary. If you try to get everything perfect from the start you will hamper your long term success..

3. Wasting Money By Not Prioritizing Your Spending

This is important and key to your long term success. If not handled properly, this simple mistake will kill your spirit and put you out of business immediately. If you don't have money to try each any every enticing offer that claims to help your business. DON'T spend money unnecessarily!

The Internet is full of fantastic copy and enticing offers, some of which are great others not so great. Don't get side tracked by jumping from opportunity to opportunity, help program to help program or buying everything that lands in your inbox. The fact is, most online business essentials can be obtained for FREE. This is particularly true when you're first starting out. If you commit to engage in a little research, you'll be quite surprised at what you will find. Not only can you find great resources you will find them in many cases at no charge. Try to control your urge to purchase resources and tools. Think and evaluate carefully before you make purchases for your online business. Write a list of what you need. Examine the pros and cons, and make sure that your purchases are essential to achieving your goals.

4. Not Investing Enough Money On The Right Resources

Converse to point #3, many new online marketers fail to make the proper investment in the proper things. Anyone that tells you that you don't have to spend ANY money to grow an online business is lying to you. Unfortunately you will have to spend money to sustain your business. When you initially start, you won't have to spend much, as most of your time should be spent engaging in RESEARCH. You will need more money as your business continues to grow. For starters, you'll need a domain, a hosting service and an autoresponder, all of which are pretty affordable. As you move forward, the bulk of your expenses will be on testing and promotion. If you're paying someone to create a product or you're buying resell rights to a product or service, you must account for these initial expenses as well. Starting out with affiliate products can greatly reduce these types of expenses and allow you to gain a greater understanding of the processes involved as you market online.

5. Pursuing Difficult Markets Due To Ineffective Market Research

This is a typical mistake but an easy mistake to make for the new online marketer. Most new marketers pursue markets that THEY THINK will be profitable. Before you decide on a product or market that you wish to target, make SURE that you've performed exhaustive market research. If you don't, it could be months, even years before you realize that you're involved in pursuing profits in a market that is NOT commercially viable for a beginning marketer. Perform thorough and exhaustive research BEFORE you invest time and money in your online marketing campaigns. Understand exactly what the term "niche" market means and adhere to that definition strictly. All niche markets are NOT profitable. Before you target your market make sure that customers within the targeted market are willing to spend money! If the market that you seek is not commercially viable, refocus your efforts and pursue a different market!

6. Lacking The Desire To Grow

You must develop an unquenchable desire to grow. Continual growth of your marketing knowledge and your perspective with respect to online marketing activities is essential. Learning online marketing is continual process not a destination. It's essential that you develop this mind set immediately. If you're not open to continual learning and growth you and your online business will become stagnant quickly. The skills needed to market online are constantly evolving and changing. One of the most important things you can do is to constantly update your skills and knowledge base with respect to your marketing internet marketing efforts. It is important to note that this doesn't always occur in a linear fashion. There will be times where you'll feel that your learning curve has stagnated but keep reading, listening and learning and your insights will continue to expand. Don't get stuck using the same skills and ideas or doing things the same way for long periods of time without exploring ways to improve what you are presently doing.

7. Trying To Do Everything That Needs To Be Done... Alone

When starting an online business there is lots of activities and tasks that you need to address. This doesn't always mean that you have to do it all yourself. Of course, you can do it alone but it will make the road ahead much harder, and in most cases a much longer road. Without the proper support and assistance you are more likely to experience burnout very quickly. You don't have to outsource each and every thing, however it is wise to target certain areas that will monopolize your time and obtain help when needed. On-line forums, blogs and other portals can be a valuable source of ideas, and sources to provide assistance from other people in this area. Leverage your efforts by seeking assistance in areas that are not your best strengths.

8. The Pursuit Of Smaller Profit Sources / Setting Your Internet Income Goals To Low

Many new online marketers find it less intimidating to sell products or services that cost 10-20 dollars. They are misled into believing that these types of products or services will be easier to market. The fact is, in most cases, it takes just as much time, energy and effort to successfully market a $20.00 product as it does to successfully market a $100.00 product or service. Don’t dismiss the idea of varying the types of offers that you intend to market. Be sure to include a few higher ticket items in your offerings. If you've done your research, and handled your marketing correctly you can find success marketing these types of items even during the infancy stages of your online internet marketing experience. Undoubtedly, you'll get less sales, but you'll also enjoy more profits. You won't know if you can market these types of offers unless you're willing to give them a try. Don't assume that these types of products and services are off limits to your internet marketing efforts. Do the research, target your market, develop your marketing campaigns and promote offers that give you a chance to earn higher commissions along with your small profit offers. Many high ticket offers perform better with existing customers. You typically have developed a relationship with these customers and many will try your offers based on your business relationship and your credibility.

9. The Failure To Separate Your Business Life and You Home Life

Many new online marketers start their online business in hopes to escape the hustle and bustle of traditional offline business activities. Don't fall into the trap of creating another JOB at home with your online business. Though initially, getting your online marketing efforts up to par may take a little extra time and commitment, you don't want your online business ventures to dominate your entire life. One of the biggest pitfalls of working from home is the fact that work s always accessible and so is your home life. Knowing how to separate the two is essential for maintaining balance and a healthy perspective.

You'll find that your personal home life can also creep into your work activities. The fact that you're at home makes it easy for the lines that separate these two aspects of life to become blurred. Try to separate the two by establishing fixed times when you work, and fixed times for your personal home life. In many cases it's a good idea to establish a specific work area for performing your business activities. Work doesn't have to take dominate your life, define distinct barriers that separate your home life and your work life.

10. The Inability To Remain Positive and Ambitious

When you start to pursue your Internet business, you will undoubtedly have those that will not have faith in your long term success. Conversely, you'll have others that will encourage you and cheer for you every step of the way. I encourage you to surround yourself with positive thoughts and uplifting people to help you maintain your belief in YOU. Starting any type of business can be a daunting task. You absolutely must believe in yourself and remain ambitious to move forward.

Don't allow ANYONE to tell you what YOU can't do. Focus on your goals and set them in stone. Decide to decide to decide.... Once you've made a quality decision about your online marketing goals stick to them and pursue them CONSISTENTLY. Over time you will experience tell tale signs of success that will keep you motivated and moving forward. Create your own profitable mind set and don't allow anyone to rob you of that mind set. If you THINK you can you CAN!

Creating an Internet business that consistently generates Internet income is no small task, however if you execute consistently and stay focused in a few key areas it is certainly accomplishable. Avoid these costly mistakes to help you as you pursue your internet marketing goals.

Internet Marketing is Business, not Just Search Engine Algorithms

Author: Marketing Guy

Not two weeks ago I had a chat with someone (an SEO) about some online media buying and although the figures made an infinite amount of sense (6 figure monthly page views – prime location banner purchase for less than £90 per month!), he said, “but there is no SEO value from the banner link” (it was JavaScript)! Astonished, I spent the next hour arguing the case for buying the coverage, but it would seem that the majority of SEOs just don’t see the value of applying traditional marketing techniques to the web – they just don’t “fit” into the SEO mindset.

What is really bizarre though is that while the optimisation industry doesn’t see the value in some less search engine focused marketing techniques, they will pay a veritable fortune for paid links. The likes of ReviewMe (http://www.reviewme.com) change up to $250 for a single “review” (which is SEO speak for a plain text link not so subtly hidden in a purpose written article). One text link. One! Not just that, but a single text link on a new page that has no PR (and will maybe only will ever receive minimal PR filtered through from other page links)!

For that $250 (around £150) there are so many different options you could aim for. While a lot won’t have any direct SEO benefit, we still need to consider traffic and branding benefits.

$250 would allow me to buy banner advertising on a niche site / forum / blog for a limited amount of time. Depending on the type of site and its subject area you could be looking at a decent amount of traffic, enquiries and exposure – certainly enough to justify the cost.

An alternative would be to spend the money on a directory listing on a site such as TheBestOf (http://www.thebestof.co.uk) - £10 per month for a year and you get a full page listing (written by your local contact), an audio advert where you can pitch your service, inclusion in a high traffic site and a direct (SEO friendly!) link back to your site. A link AND qualified traffic – that’s like SEO Christmas!

Online marketing professionals do focus on SEO a lot and that isn’t a bad thing – it just isn’t the only thing and you should be looking to spend your budget wisely and spread your marketing scope.

Why PR Is The Most Effective Branding & Marketing Tool

Author: Anthony Mora

Let’s say you read an ad for an attorney in your local newspaper. The ad tells you how wonderful the attorney is, what she specializes in, what services she offers, and how to contact her. Now let’s say you read an article about that same attorney. The article profiles her and tells you about a case she just won and the impact that case had. Both pieces you read are in the newspaper. Both have to do with the same attorney, but which one would impress you the most, which would you pay more attention to, the ad or the article? My bet is the article.

Why? The ad is informative, but it’s paid for by the attorney. So, do we completely trust the information? We are aware that whatever the ad says was either written by the attorney or someone hired by the law firm and the informaiton is being controlled. The article is a news story. It is a third person account. It has been vetted by a writer and an editor. That doesn’t necessarily make the article more factually accurate than the ad, but it is perceived differently. The media’s job is to tell a story and to give the reader information, whereas the ad is meant to sell.

For that reason the article offers the attorney more validation and credibility. People tend to trust an expert who has been featured in the media more than one they see in an ad or a commercial. In a nutshell it’s the ability to offer that credibility to give the reader that sense of trust that makes PR is the most effective form of marketing and branding available.

5 weeks into the marketing program - Joel Comm

We are 5 weeks into the marketing program and to be honest, I have nothing but good stuff to say about Joel Comm. He has helped us channel our online efforts in the right direction. Initially we only had 1 website and we thought that was doing pretty well, until we started putting his ideas to the test.

We found that we had a 400% increase in our income and to top it all off, we have now got 4 times the amount of daily traffic to what we used to have. There is a program on the market now, that is available to download, it will help you create sites instantly and help you build on passive income. I've never seen anything like it, it is so simple to use.

All I can say is, you've got to try it to believe it. Then you can make up your own mind. Build on your passive income now.

Finding my passions again

When I was a lot younger when the internet had only just opened it's doors to us, I found that I could be what I wanted to be. I wanted to be a short story writer. I was so excited about this that I got myself a free website and I started writing my short stories on there. It wasn't long before I had people asking me if they could put their short stories on my website. At this time, I had no idea about needing quality content. So I went along with it, but I also found myself in a little bit of bother, because some of these short stories had been copied by the writers and that was my very first lesson on the internet. "Never take responsibility for other people's work." So I put a paragraph in on the home page that said something to this effect. "I do not take responsibility for the originality of other authors works. If you have a enquiry about this, please contact the author."

Before I knew it, I was no longer getting disgruntled emails from people that were questioning this. So that was a problem solved. That is where my life on the internet started. I then started to explore avenues for getting paid for what I do... That's when I found out that I had more than one passion. I started learning the ropes of marketing my website and how to monetize it. This was great I thought...

For years I went quite stagnant and didn't really do anything different and was happy to poodle along just getting meger amounts for my website. Then, all at once, things hit me in the head and I have now started up my old passions again. Except I'm not writing short stories anymore, I'm now writing from experience. I write about what I've done and seen, I write about all of my passions and in some way they help me to earn a living.

It's been two months since we started changing things about and I can honestly say it's given us a second wind in what we do and boy the traffic is flooding in and our cashflow is also getting much better again. I am happy to say.!!!

Who said you can't earn anything online? We are proving it to ourselves that it is possible as long as you can string along a few sentences!

So, if you're interested in learning how to get started, just keep watching this space. There will always be helpful information and remember I learnt all of this by experience, so I'll make sure you won't get caught with scams.... I hope so anyway.

Enthusiastic about Marketing

I find that there isn't many people that I know personally that is as enthusiastic as I am when it comes to marketing. I love learning new techniques and even the old ones which I was too lazy to implement in the first place. I now am doing exactly that, I'm implementing old and new strategies and I'm steering away from all the hype.

In this last month, we have actually had 400% growth on our income and that was just by listening to an expert in the field and also implementing some of our existing knowledge of marketing.

Marketing can be exciting, watching the stats climb, month after month is a thrill, but boy, I can't wait for that one massive leap and I know it is near, because the figures are showing me just how quickly things are moving along.

I have learnt about countless methods of marketing over the last 10 years. I have tried almost every method, but lost the will to carry on when things weren't going as smoothly as I knew they could be. So now, I've put my mind set right... you won't get anywhere without a little effort and patience. I am now in the right frame of mind to move up a level and start doing what I knew I could have been doing 5 years ago if I just stuck to it.

My partner is still learning, but he is on the fast track crash course. I have taught him everything I learnt in 9 years into a 3 years. Now he is just about at the same level as I am and we are working very well together. We talk about what we've got to do and then we get it done. Our time management has started to get more productive and we aren't quite to tired anymore.

We start our day with a quick coffee and a quick chat. We bounce ideas off of each other and then we implement them. We have learned to get the best out of each other with just a little encouragement, because this Internet marketing is a cold place really, everyone wants to make money and everyone keeps their real secrets close to their chests. We've gone from only a couple hundred a day to more than 500 visits a day. Our income has quadrupled.

With a little help from somebody that has gone through the ropes and little encouragement from a business partner or even your husband or wife can make the world of difference.
